Ben Ledi, Glenfinglas, Trossachs, Stirlingshire, Scotland
This was taken by me last year from the top of Ben Ledi. If any of you have roots in Glenfinglas there it is below, with Loch Finglas the foreground. Looks nice and friendly on a sunny day. It’s not. It was probably quite a wild and unsheltered place in the winter. This is just the view in one direction and it’s pretty much facing due west. You can see all the way across towards the hills near Arrochar (I think the Cobbler is visible on the very far horizon) If you turn to the north you can probably see on a clear day all the way up to the Glencoe area and Rannoch and beyond. Turn east you can see the Wallace monument, Stirling and the Ochils. Turn south and you can see the Fintry hills and the very outskirts of Glasgow.
